The complete Tanakh is the full set of Hebrew Scrolls that make up the Old Testament. It took is many years to collect these Scrolls.
The Scriptorium Started off as –
A unique collection of authentic Hebrew Scrolls from around the world collected by Gary & Artis Zimmerman. Most of these Scrolls date from the mid 1500 to the late 1800. Many were damaged in the Holocaust and were no longer usable for Synagogue reading. A Christian businessman funded this project and asked that we find non kosher Hebrew Scrolls that had been fragmented and would never be used again. He directed us to frame as many of the individual sheets as possible and to donate them to Christian colleges, Bible translators, Museums, Churches, etc. where the Word of God is honored and studied and the Jewish people are loved and respected. Approximately 400 individual sheets have been donated, many of them in museum quality frames to encourage them to be hung in prominent places.
The purpose for this collection is threefold:
- To tastefully exhibit the Word of God in its original Hebrew form so all can see the Creator’s Words as they were given thousands of years ago.
- To exhibit Hebrew Scrolls showing the Gentile church the roots of their faith in original form without translation.
- To give honor and respect to the Jewish community for receiving, writing and preservation of the Tanakh, Old Testament, and to say thank you for a job well done.
Biblical Hebrew Scrolls are the “benchmark” for all nations to know the Creator of all things, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is written in the New Testament in Romans chapter three: “What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.” Each nation must translate the Word of God from the original Writings into the vernacular of the day.

Isaiah 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Isaiah 9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
Malachi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.
Through a very generous sponsor The Scriptorium has had the unique privilege of freely providing portions of pasul (non-kosher) Hebrew scrolls around the world to Bible translators, Christian Seminaries, Christian colleges, Churches, mission works, Friends of Israel, and professors.
